“Modern Icons” by artist and musician Dan Knowles is open and will be up through July 5. There will be an opening reception, Saturday, May 25, 4-6 PM, with a musical performance at 5 PM by Knowles and Eddie Coffey.
Knowles, who resides in Paris, TN, is specifically a painter, inlay artist, instrument builder, sculptor, singer, writer, muralist, teacher and composer — whose main influence stems from the surrealist work of Salvador Dali, and the pointillism efforts from George Seurat. His instruments have been played by top professionals, and his artwork resides in homes and businesses worldwide.
