Take a virtual tour of the watercolor exhibit by Kentucky artist, Kat Sholly!!

Retirement and the move to a lakefront home brought the right motivation for Kat to dust off her watercolor palette in late 2015. Having never received formal art education, Kat enjoyed attending a number of workshops in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s. But demands of career in the laboratory and chemical industries took precedence over painting for many years. An occasional opportunity to bring out paper and brushes kept her interest in one day having time to pursue painting more seriously. That time arrived in late 2015 when she and husband, Bob, retired to Cadiz. Membership in local WAG/TLC (“Watercolor Artists Guild / Trigg, Lyon, Caldwell “) has been very influential in exploring many styles in watercolor. After recently being accepted into the Kentucky Watercolor Society AquaVenture exhibit in Lexington, Kat plans to submit more works to juried exhibits in various states.
